Update. 2/12/2025 - 10:45
Notifications of high packet loss from our Cogent upstream.
Being this was not a full BGP session lost the router didn't fully disable the connection.
We have since manually disabled the session and the network is stabilizing.
If continue to see issues please send us a ticket or call our main line at (936) 939-6060
A MTR or Traceroute (tracert (windows)) will help seeing where your connection is coming in on.

Engineers were performing pre-work to improve the redundancy to the switch in DC2 MMR4/3.
As part of this work, spanning tree converged and caused an interface to be disabled.
Our engineers are correcting this issue and implemented redundancy measures to prevent further impact to the customers in DC1/2.

Dear TXNet Customers,
We will be performing emergency maintenance on our network infrastructure this evening, Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 10 PM CST.
This maintenance is necessary to perform tuning on our new core routers that were recently implemented during Friday's emergency cutover following a hardware failure. The implementation of this tuning is unfortunately not hit-less, and requires a restart of dynamic routing services. We expect the downtime to be no more than 5 minutes while routing reconverges.
Once completed, these new routers will provide improved service with enhanced reliability and redundancy for all our customers.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance our network infrastructure.
